European Week of Regions and Cities: Join the Session about Integrating New Mobility Services in Public Transport
In the framework of the 2019 European Week of Regions and Cities, which will take place from the 7th to the 10th October 2019, Polis and ERRIN (European Regions Research and Innovation Network) organise a conference on the Integration of New Mobility Services in Public Transport.
The event will take place on the 8th of October from 14.30 to 17.00 at the Brussels Info Point (10-11 Rue Royale).
A number of European cities and regions, including Madrid, Saragossa, Stuttgart, Arnhem-Nijmegen, Västra Götaland, Bruxelles Capitale, and Île-de-France, will share their experiences and will engage in an open dialogue with the participants, addressing important aspects related to new mobility services. Among them: regulation, data and urban space management and the integration of new mobility services with other modes and public transport.
The objective of the event is a better understanding of the needs and requirements of local and regional authorities in dealing with new mobility services, such as dockless bikesharing, e-scooter sharing, carsharing and ridehailing, which are disrupting the traditional models of planning traffic and delivering mobility.
