European Green Capital Seeks Experts

The European Green Capital Award was established at the initiative of 15 European cities in 2006 to promote the role that cities play in improving the environment, and the positive impact this has on their citizens' quality of life. In a similar vein, the European Green Leaf Award was first awarded in 2015, open to towns with a population of 20,000 to 100,000 working to promote green growth.

For the next round of both awards, organisers are seeking six experts on a range of environmental indicators for the panel of judges who will shortlist the award candidates. Application forms can be found on the European Green Capital website, and the deadline to apply is the 1st of September 2017.
