Citizen and stakeholder engagement: share your best practice!
You have certainly heard about Rome's metro machines that exchange plastic bottles for metro tickets. We too! And we think it is a great practice to involve citizens on the improvement of resource-efficient economic systems.
The e-smartec project, which aims at supporting the development of efficient and successfully implemented mobility plans using marketing techniques, is currently collecting successful marketing practices on citizens’ and stakeholders’ engagement on sustainability goals.
The project is focusing on already proved marketing techniques that contribute to the low-carbon economy, infrastructure, delivery, competitive, resource-efficient economy and cultural heritage policies in the six project countries; Greece, Italy, the UK, Slovakia, The Netherlands, and Germany. e-smartec is particularly interested in gathering practices implemented in the project regions; Central Macedonia, Coventry, Lazio, Bratislava, Limburg and Hessen.
If you are aware of good practices in these fields and areas, we will be happy to hear from you. The practices collected will be added to the Interreg Policy Learning Platform maximising the potential of existing actions and inspiring the development of future ones.
