Dresden continues to green tram lanes to improve the urban climate

Green tram lanes provide several benefits to the city in terms of quality of life. It makes the rail system more quiet. It captures CO2, it captures water and it cooks the micro-climate. And last but not least: it looks good!

Scientists calculate that the beneifts of green tram lanes range up to about one million euro.
