Conference Summary: Second European Electromobility Stakeholder Forum

During the second European Electromobility Stakeholder Forum, participants had the opportunity to receive further information on three major European projects developing urban electromobility. The forum was a mixture of parallel workshop sessions and high level round tables. Political stakeholders from EU, national and regional authorities as well as from industry and research institutes participated.

While electromobility is acknowledged to be a core area for enhancing air quality, it should be considered as part of a comprehensive approach to tackle congestion and promotion alternative mobility.

Experts further concluded in the necessity for standardised charging points as well as for a smart charging to avoid any pressure on the electric grid.

More information on the stakeholder forum is available on the Green eMotion project website.
