CIVITAS Workshop on Electromobility in cities - Presentation available

With more than 60 participants attending the workshop, fruitful debates touched upon various issues such as the role of utility companies in electric deployment, fleet electrification including diesel public transport conversion into electric, charging stations, electric power supply, vehicle manufacturing, cities’ strategy and local implementation of electric public transport and public fleets. Participants also had the chance to purposefully exchange their views with speakers and with the room.

This workshop also presented the latest results from two European Projects focussed on electric public transport: ELIPTIC (ELectrIfication of Public Transport In Cities) and ZeEUS (Zero Emission Urban bus Systems). This was a chance notably for Transport for London, Bremen and PKT Gdynia to showcase the local implementation of their strategies under these two projects.
