CIVITAS Forum 2021: Register now!

Registrations have opened for the CIVITAS Forum 2021! Hosted by Aachen, Germany, this year's conference will bring together leading figures of sustainable urban mobility from Europe and beyond, to debate and analyze the most urgent topics in the field.

Taking place on October 20 & 21, 2021, the 19th edition of the CIVITAS Forum Conference will utilise a hybrid format, combining online and onsite activities. Over the course of its two days, it will continue the tradition of offering interactive workshops, intriguing sessions, and interesting site visits, whilst introducing exciting new programme elements.

CIVITAS is a network of cities dedicated to cleaner, better transport in Europe and beyond, with over 800 innovative urban transport measured and solution in over 80 Living Lab cities.

Bringing together experts, this CIVITAS Forum Conference edition will focus on “Smart routes towards climate-neutral cities”, the conference builds on the European Commission’s mission to create 100 smart and climate-neutral cities by 2030.

What is the role of mobility and transport in meeting this goal? How do smart mobility and climate-neutral mobility relate to each other? And what do local authorities need – from the private sector, the European Commission, and each other – to make smart and climate-neutral cities a reality?

These are the topics the CIVITAS Forum 2021 will tackle!
