Catalonia adds two more lines to its expres.cat BHLS network

11 of 40 planned express bus lines in the whole of Catalonia are now operational: 8 lines within the metropolitan area of Barcelona, 2 lines within Tarragona and, from July 1^st, the first express bus line within Girona.

All this represents a BHLS network implementation of more than 25%,and means an increase of the territorial coverage to not only Barcelona area, but also the Girona and Tarragona areas.

The express network is characterized by high frequency, the use of modern, sustainable and accessible vehicles, high commercial speed, real-time information and stops and dedicated bus lanes.
