BESTFACT: two events to finish on a high note
Rotterdam (the Netherlands) will host the final BESTFACT International Joint Cluster Workshop on Thursday 8 and Friday 9 of October 2015. The workshop which is organized in cooperation with STC (Shipping and Transport College) will focus on some of BESTFACT top issues such as multi-modal chains, last-mile operations and consolidation and collaboration. Following the collection and analysis of European best practices, this final workshop will also present some of Europe’s best examples in the area of BESTFACT’s three clusters: “urban freight”, “green logistics and co-modality” and “e-freight”.

A couple of weeks later, the BESTFACT final conference will take place on 22 and 23 October in the three major cities of Lithuania: Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipeda. The conference will focus on the most relevant scientific and practical problems of transport engineering. The conference will also provide a platform for discussions, interactions and exchange between researchers, scientists and engineers.
