Apply to become the next European Youth Capital!
The European Youth Capital is a title given by the European Youth Forum to empower young people, boost youth participation and strengthen European identity.
Each year, a new European city has the possibility to showcase its innovative ideas, projects and activities in the field of youth empowerment. The European Youth Capital title will be awarded for the sixteenth time for 2024. The title was awarded to POLIS members Rotterdam in 2009 and Thessaloniki in 2014.
“From public transport and infrastructure, to cultural and educational programmes and democratic policy-making, the European Youth Capital title invites cities across the continent to rethink how they engage with and include young people”, reads the recently published report “Ten years of boosting vibrant youthful cities”.
