An expert jury will evaluate the applications. Up to ten shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend the joint EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK and the SUMP Award Ceremony, which takes place in March 2016 in Brussels.
Apply until 13 November:
Applications are being accepted until 13 November 2015 on the campaign's website, where further information about eligibility and evaluation is available.
The previous SUMP Award winner, Bremen in Germany, won thanks to its well-developed methods in monitoring and evaluating its SUMP using an interactive web platform to gather feedback from residents. Dresden (Germany) and Ghent (Belgium) were complimented for their long-standing commitment to sustainable urban mobility. Thessaloniki (Greece) received the “Special Prize” for their tremendous efforts in a difficult working environment.
