2-day events on cycling organised by Puglia Region on 30-31 October

The event is organised by Polis member the Mobility Department of Puglia Region in the framework of “BIP – Bici in Puglia 2015”, the bicycle fair which will be held in Bari from 30 October to 1st November.

The conference will be opened by an international speaker lineup, followed by roundtables with local and regional stakeholders.

This event aims to tackle all aspects concerning cycling as a daily transport mode, the tourism dimension, health, sport and the environment.

The conference will shed a light on the results of the first informal European Council meeting of Ministers of Transport hosted by the Luxembourg Presidency on October 7th; insights of the WHO on the link between cycling, transport, health and environment; the Cycling Masterplan on Nantes Metropoles; cycling in the Netherlands; economic benefits of cycling, cycle-tourism and the EuroVelo routes.
