Virtual launch of London's connected and automated mobility living lab

Smart Mobility Living Lab (SMLL) is Europe’s most advanced urban testbed for connected and automated mobility (CAM) and has been built over the past two years through a collaboration of world-class partners: TRL, Cisco, DG Cities, London Legacy Development Corporation, Cubic, Loughborough University and Transport for London. Representing a £20 million investment by government and industry, SMLL is a key component of Testbed UK and has been designed to help businesses and public sector organisations make future mobility a safe and commercial reality.

Now complete, SMLL offers the ability to test, simulate and innovate safely and responsibly in a real-world environment, utilising cutting edge technologies and facilities while collaborating with leaders in the sector. It will drive new opportunities for business growth and new transportation services.

The two sites in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be launched.

The agenda will showcase SMLL’s capabilities with a virtual tour of both sites and an interactive panel discussion with our experts to explore the potential uses of the facility and its role in establishing the UK as a leader in this emerging global market.

When: 30/9/20, 15.00 – 17.00 BST (16.00-18.00 CEST)
