The pace of digital transition is quickening, leaving cities and governments facing new challenges. Despite the ongoing efforts to pursue more data-driven work, there is still much to be done, especially within the government. This complex cultural and technical shift requires specific expertise and presents numerous hurdles. By exploring the challenges faced by various organisations, we can work together to find solutions and move forward.

The webinar will be based on a report written by Mirelle Peters, a Dutch Policy Advisor that worked in the national program of digitalisation of mobility data in the Netherlands that spent a few months researching the topic at POLIS. The report discusses the various steps involved in the digitalisation of mobility data, from collecting to sharing, highlighting the challenges faced by cities and governments in this complex process.

The author will present her findings and insights on the challenges and opportunities of digitalising mobility data from a European perspective.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session and discuss possible solutions and strategies for a successful digital transition.
