Seminar on the future of urban energy systems
As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities, the +CityxChange Lighthouse Cities, including our members, Limerick and Trondheim, will hold seminar on the future of urban energy systems.
A greener Europe depends on energy-positive urban areas. With funding from Horizon 2020, the cities of Trondheim (NO) and Limerick (IE) are transforming how they work with local communities to adapt to the reality of a new energy market and adopt a positive energy behaviour. The two cities will develop innovative solutions that can be replicated across European cities in order to accelerate reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Together with the European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities, we would like to invite stakeholders to discuss the practical issues of the developing Positive Energy Districts across Europe.
