Launch Event for Representation of Porto Metropolitan Area

Porto Metropolitan Area comes to Brussels! To celebrate, a launch event will be held in collaboration with Magellan Circle featuring a roundtable with European representatives, including our very own Secretary General Karen Vancluysen. 

Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) in collaboration with Magellan Circle is organising an event to celebrate the launch of the Representation of Porto Metropolitan Area in Brussels,

When ? :  25 January 2023, 16:30 - 19:00 CET.

Where?: Sala Damião de Goes in Permanent Representation of Portugal to the European Union (REPER)

The event will feature an opening speech by a Portuguese Ambassador, alongside keynotes from Eduardo Vítor Rodrigues, President of AMP and Mayor of Vila Nova de Gaia, and Elisa Ferreira, EU Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms.

Following the keynotes, a roundtable will be held featuring four different representatives of key European players:

• Clara San Damián Hernández, Director at Permanent Delegation of Castilla and León to the European Union;
• Isabel Carvalhais, Member of the European Parliament;
• and our very own Secretary General Karen Vancluysen, representing POLIS.

The session will then conclude with a speech by Vasco Cordeiro, President of the European Committee of the Regions.
