4th Italian National SUMP Conference

The fourth edition of the National Conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans in Italy will take place in the city of Ravenna, in the Emilia-Romagna region, on the Adriatic coast.

Ravenna is one of the great success stories of well integrated mobility management measures in their leading policy documents. The SUMP was adopted in July 2018, and the city is now looking forward to updating the Plan following the recently published new SUMP guidelines.

The first three editions of the Italian National SUMP Conference were held in Bari in 2017, in Bologna in 2018 and in Rome in 2019, with the participation of about 300 experts in the transport and urban mobility sector in each conference editions.

The event is organised by the Italian SUMP Observatory (Osservatorio PUMS) and aims to disseminate results, good practice and new planning techniques among local and regional public governments.

The 2-day conference will have plenary sessions and thematic workshops. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.
