COVID-19: Keeping Things Moving

Rotterdam uses camera car for compliance with corona rules

To enforce compliance with the rules regarding group formation and to keep sufficient distance, the municipality of Rotterdam is using two Arvoo camera cars.

The camera cars will be used specifically to ensure compliance with rules around parks and squares in the Dutch city.

The cars are equipped with the ScanGenius SLIM system and send live images to a central point, where they are monitored by camera operators and a dispatcher. These experts can immediately contact enforcement officers and / or the police if necessary. In the car a Senior Camera Operator of Surveillance is behind the wheel.
