Citymapper Mobility Index: How coronavirus is changing travel trends across the world

Citymapper's Mobility Index is revealing some interesting trends in travel as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Citymapper - the global transport planning app - publishes data on how cities' travel is changing over time. With major travel restrictions in place due to COVID-19, some major changes in citizens' travel habits have been observed.

This includes only 9% and 16% of the normal movement in Milan and Rome respectively, showing the impact of the major restrictions implemented to limit the spread of COVID-19.
