Marina Martin Vilches

Marina joined POLIS in November 2021.

Marina’s project work at POLIS Network focuses primarily on electromobility, urban freight, and road safety. She is also passionate about smart cities, active mobility, and social inclusion, topics that she focuses on in her communication endeavours.

Marina works in urban mobility projects such as SOLUTIONSplus and ESCALATE, among others. Additionally, she is involved in POLIS corporate communications. She is responsible for POLIS social media channels and is involved in activities such as the creation of the Cities in motion magazine and the POLIS Annual Conference.

She holds a BA in International Relations from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a MSc in Urban Governance from Erasmus University Rotterdam and the Institute of Housing and Urban Development Studies. Before joining POLIS, she worked as an intern in policy and communications at the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry.
