European Week of Regions and Cities: Join the speed-dating session for cities!

15 July 2019

Do you want to make your city a better, greener place to live and work? Join the speed-dating session for cities during the European Week of Regions and Cities on Tuesday 8 October 2019.

The European Commission's Directorate General for Environment kicks off this inspiring session where you can learn from the best of the best about a range of environmental topics such as mitigation and adaptation to climate change, waste management, sustainable urban mobility or urban governance. European Green Capital winning cities will share with you how they managed the sustainability transition and how you can do the same.

The European Commission will also have information available about their TAIEX peer-to-peer financing scheme that can help cities and regions finance any follow-up dates. New partnerships will be formed and experiences shared in a hands-on and practical way at this ‘world café’ session.
