Workshop on Climate Change and Urban Planning in Wuppertal, 11-12 October

The EU project SUDPLAN - Sustainable Urban Development Planner for Climate Change Adaptation – has developed a tool which allows community planners to use global and regional climate model results together with their own local data, thereby improving the future projections of precipitation, temperature, hydrological conditions and air quality in the city. Users can also integrate their local models into the system and use its advanced visualization techniques.

The workshop is targeting community planners, responsible for the sewage system, the water treatment plant, the air quality management of the city or similar; insurance companies or consultanting on environmental and climate change issues.

The programme can be downloaded from the project website at http://sudplan.eu/
