Urban freight project Smartfusion kicked-off in London
The Smartfusion project kick off meeting was recently held at University of Westminter, London and was attended by over twenty delegates. The consortium met over two days on 14th and 15th May 2012 to formulate a detailed plan of action for the Smartfusion project. The meeting also allowed Smartfusion colleagues from throughout Europe to meeting and discuss roles within the project.
Smartfusion will develop and demonstrate novel transport innovations that will improve the efficiency, as well as social and environmental sustainability, of urban freight operations and the related urban- interurban shipment processes. The project started on April 1, 2012 and will run for three years.
