Three projects will share a stand at ECOMM: TRACE, FLOW and NOVELOG
The European Conference on Mobility Management (ECOMM) takes place this year from 1-3 June in Athens, Greece. The motto of this year’s conference is Smart Solutions for People and Cities: Think Green, Travel Smart – Think Smart, Travel Green.
Polis’ Secretary General, Karen Vancluysen, will be chairing Session C-3: Sharing mobility schemes: Evidence from real world cases.
The FLOW project will be presented in Session E-4: Monitoring the Benefits of Mobility Management under the title Cycling and walking measures – causes of congestion or solutions to it?
Along with the numerous interesting sessions, the three Horizon 2020 projects TRACE, FLOW and NOVELOG will share a stand. Make sure to pass by and learn more about their work. Below, a brief introduction to the projects:
• NOVELOG focuses on gaining insight into urban freight transport and providing guidance for implementing effective and sustainable policies and measures.
• TRACE assesses the potential of movement tracking services to better plan and promote walking and cycling in cities, and develops tracking tools fuelling the take up of walking and cycling measures.
• FLOW develops a user-friendly methodology to assess the effectiveness of walking and cycling measures in addressing urban road congestion.
