The SHAPES project on benefits and risk of urban cycling receives award in Belgium
The Compagnie du Bois Sauvage prize 2011-2012 was recently handed over to Professor Isabelle Thomas, of the Faculty of Natural Sciences (UCL), for achievements and interests of the research conducted by a team of researchers from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and VITO the Flemish Institute for Technological Research.

VITO is also among the authors of Polis’s position paper on Securing the benefits of cycling in Europe published this March. The paper is free for download here.
