The MOLECULES project held its second meeting in Valencia

The project consortium gathered for its second meeting on March 27-28 in Valencia. On the agenda were two workshops on use cases in the three demonstration sites (Barcelona, Berlin, Grand Paris), and use of indicators to evaluate the impact of SCE.

The project

MOLECULES will review existing necessities and barriers in the implementation of smart connected electro-mobility; define of an open architecture and identify ICT services; organize demonstrations of ICT services in three different pilot sites: Berlin, Barcelona and Marne-la-Vallée (Grand Paris); engage key stakeholders from the public and private sector in the MOLECULES Interest Group.

The consortium

The MOLECULES consortium is formed by experts in the filed of mobility and transport, applied research and technological development of ICT: Barcelona Digital Technology Centre (Spain), Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) (Germany), Polis network (Belgium), Berlin VMZ Betreibergesellschaft (Germany). Thee private companies in the field of electromobility, car sharing and carpooling: MOPeasy (France), Going Green (Spain), Greenwheels (Germany). And the cities of Berlin and Barcelona. The project is coordinated by ETRA Investigación y Desarrollo (Spain).

The project kicked-off in January and runs from 2012 to 2014.
