Save the date – Carbon Aware Travel Choice Final Conference 13 December
The CATCH project looks at how to make people more aware of the carbon impact of their travel choices in recognising that behaviour change plays a role in carbon mitigation strategies. A knowledge platform is under development to help encourage behavioural change in transport, and to help practitioners working in cities understand the carbon impacts of their travel choices.
The CATCH project will end in January 2012. The CATCH final event will take place on 13 December in Bristol at the University of West of England (UWE). This event will present work from the project, looking particularly at how to link low carbon transport with other co-benefit areas (e.g. in health and society) to help foster a change of behaviour towards low carbon transport.
A draft agenda will be available in the summer. For further information on the project, visit www.carbonaware.eu or contact Anna Clark.
