Save the date: "Building the Liveable and Healthy City" workshop, 18 November 2015 in Brussels
The workshop presents:
- New approaches and good practice examples across European cities;
- Tools to increase active mobility and create healthier urban environments;
- Free training of the Health Economic Assessment Tool (HEAT) to conduct an economic assessment of the health benefits of walking or cycling
with the aim to help urban planners, transport and health practitioners better integrate cycling and walking into urban transport planning, and make the case for new investment in active mobility.
The workshop is free and open to local, regional and national authorities, researchers, urban and transport planning practitioners, public health practitioners, advocacy groups and civil society organisations.
