QUEST project final conference will take place in Budapest and will be supported by Polis member BKK

Many European cities are facing challenges when it comes to set up and implement truly sustainable mobility policies and measures.  QUEST is a Quality Management tool for assessiong and further developing cities’ sustainable mobility policies and actions with the assistance of an external expert - the QUEST Auditor. QUEST supports European cities in making real progress towards a more sustainable urban transport system, and helps them to find solutions for achieving the desired goals. Nearly 50 cities from all over Europe have been involved in QUEST project (2011-2013), demonstrating that there is much demand for advice on urban mobility planning.

The QUEST final conference will discuss the results from the project, highlight the experiences from cities involved in the project and touch upon the European policy framework for sustainable urban mobility. The conference is aimed at all cities and organisations interested in the QUEST tool and the development of sustainable urban mobility policies. More information about the project can be found at: www.quest-project.eu.

Participation is free of charge. The conference will conclude with a dinner for all participants. On the day following the conference, a site visit on soft modes of transport will be organized by the Centre for Budapest Transport (BKK).

More information can be found in the programme.

Please use the online registration form to register for the conference and indicate whether you plan to attend the site visit. Deadline for registrations is June 30.
