Online training: Assessing the economic impact of active travel
HEAT for walking and cycling is an online resource to estimate the economic savings resulting from reductions in mortality as a consequence of regular cycling or walking. Results from HEAT can be used as inputs to cost-benefit-analyses, comprehensive health impact assessments or to make the case for new investment.
The live online trainings in English and German are free and open to local and regional authorities, urban and transport planners, researchers, advocacy groups.
