European Mobility Week award 2011: The nominees are..

This year the jury has paid special attention to the involvement of relevant stakeholders in the preparation and organisation of European Mobility Week, the integration of the main themes and activities within the campaign, as well as the comprehensiveness of the events, activities and permanent measures undertaken. A summary of the main activities and achievements of each shortlisted cities can be found at the European Mobility Week website.

This year’s theme “Moving in the right direction” will have a focus on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) to encourage their take-up in European cities as a tool for an integrated planning approach.
