Dresden organizes a conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMPs)
Many German cities are currently involved in developing such all-encompassing plans which will take account of climate change, raising costs, health and demographic changes, economic development, transport safety and security. The city of Dresden has started to work about 3 years ago on its transport development plan for the timeframe of 2025 and beyond. The purpose of this conference is therefore to share these experiences with other German cities and to enrich not only its own mobility planning process, but also the ones of other cities. Representatives from several German cities, from the academia as well as consultants will make part of the programme.
To participate, please send an email to geschaeftsfuehrung@sachsen.dvwg.de with your name, organisation, address, telephone number and Email address by 8. October 2012.
Participation is for free of charge, the language of the conference is German.
