Boosting advanced public transport systems conference, 29 September 2011, Darmstadt
The final event of BAPTS (Boosting Advanced Public Transport Systems) is taking place in Darmstadt (close to Frankfurt) on 29 September. The BAPTS project has enabled many cities, including several Polis members (Dublin, Lille, Frankfurt, Southend and Eindhoven), to implement a range of measures to improve their public transport service.
The final conference will show how these measures have been implemented in these cities. Presentations will include: Smarter Travel Workplace programme in Dublin, Integrated transport corridor planning in Eindhoven, modelling evidence for public transport investment in Southend, Smart card operated cycle parking in Darlington, Real-time passenger information and infotainment at bus stops in Lille and Infotainment and smart cards in Frankfurt.
The conference will be offered in three languages: EN, FR and DE
