Bologna invites European Cities to 2015 European Cycling Challenge (ECC2015)

The Cycling Challengewill be held throughout the month of May 2015. Cities challenge each other in using bicycles as a mode of daily urban transport. Participating cyclists, each tracking their own bike rides with a free GPS-based smartphone app, will contribute to the total number of kms cycled in their cities.

More features available for 2015

The 2015 edition will be characterized by a dedicated App, under developing in these days, that will answer the needs expressed by former participants. The new features will include live heat-maps (see images below), the possibility to create sub-teams among companies, schools, organizations and automatic elaboration of the trips that will simplify the participation to the Challenge.

How to sign up

Many of the city that joined the past edition have already confirmed their participation to the ECC2015, many others have already expressed their interest to join.
