Advanced transport systems project kicks off

The 4-year FP7 project, CityMobil2, involves more than 10 cities (or similar), including Polis members Brussels and Milan, which are all candidates for a 6-month demonstration of an automated passenger transport system. An extensive study of each of the cities will be undertaken in the first phase of the project to identify the area(s) where an automated system could most usefully be implemented. Four or five of these cities will then be selected for the 6-month demonstration, which will be undertaken in the second phase of the project.

CityMobil2 is the follow up to the FP6 project CityMobil, in which Polis was responsible for dissemination activities. Polis is similarly in charge of dissemination and exploitation activities within the CityMobil2 project.  For more information about CityMobil2, please contact Suzanne Hoadley.
