Achieving cleaner transport: Seven new ECOSTARS Fleet Recognition schemes
This week, the ECOSTARS reference group meets in Rotterdam. The core group of experts are drawn from national, regional and local governments as well as fleet operators, environmental bodies and complementary EC funded projects.
Also this week, the new ECOSTARS newsletter has been released: You can read about the very different conditions under which the local ECOSTARS schemes operate, and on a further two schemes recently launched in the UK that sourced different public funds to run ECOSTARS in their local area.
ECOSTARS is keen to provide advice and support to other local authorities and stakeholders that are interested to get involved in ECOSTARS. If you visit ECOMM in Frankfurt on 12-15 June 2012 you can meet the ECOSTARS team directly there.
For more information or if you are interested in contributing your expertise in the ECOSTARS reference group please contact Dagmar Röller.
