Dear members,

Good news from the EU this week - by an overwhelming majority, the European Parliament has adopted the Weights & Dimensions directive for updated lorry cab design requirements, making streets safer for cyclists and pedestrians. Polis had been campaigning for the adoption of the new rules. You are invited to read our Policy Brief on the directive.

You are also invited to read about the announcement of the 1st European conference on Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning, which will take place from 12-13 June in Sopot, as well as news from our members and projects.

When you are logged in as a member to the Polis website, you will have access to a considerably enhanced database of documents, events and news compared to the public website.

Contact us if you do not know your login details!

Yours sincerely,
Sylvain Haon
Secretary General
