Dear members,

We trust you have all well received the Call for Speakers for the 2016 Polis Conference "Innovation in transport for sustainable cities and regions", taking place on 1-2 December. In cooperation with host city and Polis president Rotterdam we identified the most relevant priority topics across the different Polis thematic pillars and working groups in which you are all engaged. Take a look at the topics around which the conference programme will be built in the Call for Speakers.

We encourage all of you to submit an abstract before 22 May. Polis members should not miss this opportunity to showcase their urban transport innovations!

These weeks have also seen several other major European transport conferences, including the European SUMP Conference in Bremen, and currently ongoing Transport Research Arena in Warsaw and European Mobility Week workshops in Brussels. Tonight, the EMW and SUMP Awards will be presented, with Polis member Utrecht among the shortlisted cities.

Read more about these topics in this InfoPolis!

I wish you a pleasant read!

Yours sincerely,
Karen Vancluysen
Secretary General
