An additional four hundred police officers will be deployed in the Brussels public transport system to tackle the growing insecurity. This increase of security efforts follows an incident leaving a deadly victim.
Launched by Michelin, in partnership with the European Commission, the ROSYPE project (ROad Safety for Young People in Europe) aims at raising the road safety awareness of 730,000 young people.
Ministers from over 50 countries along with key transport leaders from public administration, business and academia will meet at the Annual Summit of the International Transport Forum to debate transport issues of strategic importance.
The workshop will highlight the importance of road safety operations on local and regional roads (secondary network) and will give advise to regional authorities. It is jointly organised by PILOT4SAFETY and BALTRIS.
