Gothenburg hosts International Cycling Safety Conference (ICSC) 2014

From 18-19 November 2014, Gothenburg will be be the ground for discussions on the safety of cyclists between researchers, legislators, politicians, and members of cycling associations.

The conference covers the following topics:

Cyclist behavior/human factors Bicycle accident causation Bicycle accident prevention Bicycle injury prevention Cycling infrastructures Cycling education Naturalistic cycling Interaction between cyclists and cars/trucks Interaction between cyclists and other road users Cyclists impairment (e.g. distraction and inattention) Bicycle engineering including intelligent technology Safe cycling in cities

All submitted papers are peer-reviewed and selected scientific papers will be published in a special issue of the Safety Science journal. Registration is now open. The early bird fee applies until 15 October.
