The European STARS project (Sustainable Travel Accreditation and Recognition for Schools) is looking for early adopter cities that would like to attend training workshops organized by the STARS partners.
The European project STARS (Sustainable Travel Accreditation and Recognition for Schools) gathers nine implementation partners around one common goal: to increase the number of pupils cycling to and from school, who would previously have been escorted by car.
With the project under way in 8 cities and one region, STARS is now looking for early adopter cities from outside the project that would like to implement a sustainable school travel program. As part of this process, STARS will organize training sessions to share experience and knowledge from the project.
If your city is interested in attending one of these trainings, you are invited to contact the STARS project coordinator Fiona McLean (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Attendance at the training sessions will be free of charge.
Find out more about STARS on the project website. The dates for the training sessions will be communicated through the website and the STARS newsletter as soon as they are available.
