After 10 years Milan has started the review of its Piano Urbano della Mobilità Sostenibile (SUMP). Stakeholders participation in the SUMP process will kick-off at public meeting this Wednesday, July 3rd in the prestigious Mayor's Office at Palazzo Marino.
The SUMP process will follow a participatory approach: Ctizens, stakeholders, public bodies and institutions, the civil society will help a Scientific Committee draft the future of sustainable mobility in the city.
Milan's SUMP focuses on 10 actions: Milan Metropolitan Region; Public Transport; Rail; Accessibility in new urban development areas; Safety, Walking and Environmental Zones; Cycling; Parking; Smart Mobility; Urban Freight Logistics; and City Without Barriers.
