Athens call for papers | Deadline: 15 April 2011
After Göteborg in 2008 and Brussels in 2010, the next Transport Research Arena (TRA) will take place in Athens from the 23rd to the 26th of April 2012.
After having opened itself to urban mobility and intermodality in 2010, TRA has become truly multimodal for 2012. It is organised with the support of its founding organisations, the European Commission, ERTRAC and CEDR (conference of European road directorates), and since this year with ERRAC (the European Rail Research Advisory Council), and Waterborne, its counterpart for maritime transport.
TRA 2012 call for abstracts has been published. The deadline to submit abstracts is 15th April 2011.
TRA is aimed at becoming the reference event on transport research in Europe. It is gaining momentum, recognition, and support at the highest level, and it is therefore that urban and regional mobility are fully part of this event and of the programme. It should therefore be seen as a key opportunity to present innovative mobility solutions implemented at the urban and regional level. In the framework of its work in ERTRAC, Polis, represented by Sylvain Haon, sits in the Management Committee of TRA 2012.
