CIVITAS VANGUARD Training event: Social inclusion

22 March 2012 - 23 March 2012 Coimbra, Portugal

CIVITAS MODERN and CIVITAS VANGUARD will hold a training workshop on social inclusion in urban transport and mobility systems. The focus will be on different target groups, existing factors of exclusion (physical, geographical, economic, time-based, fear-based) and how they can be remedied.

The training workshop will provide:

• 
  Theoretical background on social inclusion;
  The opportunity to exchange knowledge with experienced urban transport professionals; and
  Inspiring case studies from across Europe showing innovative approaches in the field of social inclusion.

The training-team invites all cities to bring in good practise case studies. Polis President Perugia will present at the event.
