ITS World Congress

Under the motto "Smarter on the way" the congress will focus on serving customers, connecting seamlessly and encouraging sustainability.

The 19th ITS World Congress in Vienna will emphasize the benefits that Intelligent Transport Systems are able to provide the user with. About 1,000 presentations will deal with the three main issues in ITS: increasing safety, efficiency and sustainability in all modes of transport.

The call for papers has been opened on 17 October 2011 and especially women and young scientists are asked to submit their papers. Deadline to submit papers is 13 January 2012.

At the demonstration program participants will be able to directly experience the latest technologies. Cooperative Systems and multimodal traffic information will take a main part of the demo program and advanced driver assistance systems will be shown.
