CIVITAS VANGUARD WEBINAR: changing travel behaviour of children and young adults
02 March 2012CIVITAS VANGUARD would like to invite you to a webinar on changing travel behaviour of children and young adults. It will take place from 14:00 - 14:45 on 2 March 2012.
Organised by CIVITAS VANGUARD, CIVITAS ARCHIMEDES and the CIVITAS thematic group "Less car-intensive lifestyles", this webinar will look at triggering a shift away from personal car use towards clean and energy-efficient transport. It will explore how car-independent lifestyles can be encouraged through car-pooling, car-sharing and non-motorised modes of transport such as cycling and walking.
The first part of the session will present five good practice case studies from Europe targeting children up to 18 years of age and their parents. Afterwards participants are invited to ask questions, discuss and share their experiences. To join the webinar, all you need is a good Internet connection and a headset.
