Dear members,

next week sees the deadline to submit abstracts for the 2015 Polis Conference (9-20 November in Brussels): Until 15 May contributions can be handed in via the Polis website. The call topics cover all four thematic Polis pillars as well as horizontal issues such as global cooperation, freight and transport planning.

I encourage all our members to submit an abstract and make use of this outstanding opportunity to showcase your local transport achievements, establish contact with peers working on the same topic, whether they represent municipalities, researchers or industry. Access the call for speakers directly here.

Earlier this week, Polis' Working Group on road safety and security met in Brussels and welcomed the new WG chair Dora Ramazotti of SRM Bologna. The group expressed interest  to strengthen cooperation with the EU institutions in relation to road safety topics. Read more in this InfoPolis.
