Editorial
Dear members,
Our Annual Conference and General Assembly in Brussels are approaching. As indicated in the invitation you recently received, it is now the time to send your applications for the position of President of Polis or to the Management Committee. Do not hesitate to contact Polis office if you have questions on this matter!
Regarding the participation to the conference, we are pleased to announce that it is a success and that we are oversubscribed. Non Polis members can no longer register to attend the plenary sessions. They can still attend the technical sessions if they wish to do so.
We have some places left for Polis members. If you have not done so, please register to the event and to the general assembly as soon as you can!
Following a dense European agenda, Polis will reply to a public consultation from DG Climate Action on reducing the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from road transport. The European Commission will use the responses to the consultation to help shape future legislation aimed at reducing GHG road transport emissions. A draft response is available online, so please send us any input and comments before 2 December. See further details below.
