Dear members,

the year is still young but has gained momentum: The first Polis Working Group met last week and discussed open data, traffic management innovation, smart cities, and urban ITS standardisation. The group brought forward the development of a Polis vision of a 'smart city' and the role of transport therein.

Additionally, the CIVITAS CAPITAL ITS Advisory Group met, a group that was formed by Polis at the European Comission's request, and one of the first European Smart Cities lighthouse projects funded under the Horizon2020 programme kicks off this week, in which Polis members Barcelona and Cork are involved.

We are pleased to witness the activitites of Polis members and encourage you to read more about your peers' local and European activities in this InfoPolis.

Please login to the Polis website as a member to access also the news designed for Polis members only (green headline)! If you do not know your login details, please contact us!
