I am delighted to welcome three new members to the Polis network: the Dutch city of Helmond, the French region of Brittany, represented by Bretagne Développement Innovation, and Rogaland County Council from Norway! Soon, our new members will be presented in more detail on the Polis website. As usual, contact details will be available once you are logged in as a Polis member.
New as well as long standing Polis members can meet each other at this year's Annual General Assembly (AGA) and Polis Conference, which also marks the network's 25th anniversary, and is kindly hosted from 26 to28 November by Polis President Madrid. I am pleased to invite all Polis members to register up to three delegates free of charge and I encourage all of you to benefit from this excellent networking and learning experience!
Please note that the AGA on 26 November will include a funding and brokerage session in view of the forthcoming calls for proposals that will open on 10 December under the Horizon 2020 Transport Challenge. More information can be found in this newsletter.
Yesterday, the designated European Commissioner for Transport Maros Sefcovic answered the European Parliament's questions on his plans and commitments on transport and space policy. Read more about the hearing in this InfoPolis!
Contact us if you do not know or remember your login details for the Polis website.
I wish you a pleasant read!
